Winning Dodgeball- For Nerds

I'm not athletic.

This is no secret to anyone who knows me.
But I can win at dodgeball. Here's how I do it:

Rule 1: When playing, blend in. Stay in the back at all times, away from the line of fire. If you happen to be a nerd such as myself, this is easy to do since I generally avoid drawing attention to myself.
Rule 2: Obtain a dodgeball. No, this isn't for throwing. I repeat, do not throw it. Under no circumstances will you throw the ball. Use the aforementioned ball for deflecting any dodgeballs that should come in your general direction. DO NOT attempt to obtain said dodgeball during the first 3 minutes of the game. This is when chaos generally ensues.
Rule 3: Maintain a relaxed stance. Make sure you can be ready to dodge any incoming hazards catapulted at you by the opposing team. Standing stiffly will pose an extra challenge if you need to dodge suddenly.
Rule 4: Keep all the dodgeballs on your side. Let's assume that you are the last one standing from your team. There's a multitude of angry jocks, ready to throw. Once they have thrown all their dodgeballs, allow the balls to remain on your side. Wait there. Do not move. An impatient player from the other team will run over to your side and grab the ball. This is cheating and results in an automatic forfeit by the cheater's team.
